Delia 'Dee' Brown

Delia “Dee” Brown, 98, of Sturgeon Bay passed away December 15, 2012, at Golden Living Center (Coventry Care) in Sturgeon Bay, following a five year illness. She was born March 8, 1914, in Niagara,WI. Delia married Elmer Hoagland and they moved to Sturgeon Bay in 1941, and raised four children. She married James Brown in 1967.

Survivors include three daughters, LeeAnn Blizel - (Fred) Luebeck, Sturgeon Bay; Virginia Sue Wright, Appleton; Bonnie (Ron) Gorsynski, Ludington, MI; grandchildren, Allen Blizel (Coleen Haen); Paul (Rhonda) Blizel, Patrick Blizel, Mary Olsen, Michelle Hoagland, Renee (Mark) Mendez, Jason Wright, Allison Wright, Val Gorzynski, Deanna (Art) Lutz; step-children, Bruce (Linda) Brown, Jack Brown, Bob (Pam) Brown; step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson. She was preceded in death by husbands, sons-in-law, Allen Blizel and Bennett C. Wright; parents, Joseph and Leona Provencher, eight brothers and three sisters.

A memorial service will be held at Forbes Funeral Home, Saturday, May 25, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. with inurnment at Hainesville Cemetery. Visitation after 10 a.m. until time of services. Friends are invited to attend and share their many memories of Mom.
