Sivert I. Lind

Sivert I. Lind, 78, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away at home on April 19, 2013. He was born June 5, 1934, in Chicago to Ivar and Mina Lind. On April 16, 1955, he married Bergliot Gregory in Chicago. Sivert was a home builder for many years in Illinois. He was also involved in the construction of several large churches and other commercial buildings. Sivert was a member of the Family Worship Center and a past member of Salmon Unlimited in Illinois.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Carl (Debbie) Lind, Lake Zurich, IL; David Lind, Elgin, IL; six grandchildren, and a sister, Neva Nelson. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Eric.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at the Family Worship Center, in Sturgeon Bay with the Rev. Dr. Mark Schwarzbauer officiating. Burial will be in Clay Banks Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until the time of services at the Worship Center. Forbes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
