The calendar may say spring but there's some winter in the forecast.
The National Weather Service says snow will move into northeast Wisconsin tonight with an inch or two possible by Saturday morning. The snow is expected to transition to rain Saturday as temperatures warm into the 40s.
The snow isn't expected to be a major event on the Door Peninsula but some areas in north central Wisconsin could see accumulations of 3 to 5 inches.
Forecasters say road temperatures have warmed over the past several days but probably not enough to keep them from getting slick tonight.
