A three-way battle for a Common Council seat in the City of Kewaunee is one of several contested races on the ballot Tuesday in Kewaunee County.
Incumbent Jamie Sperber, Sandi Christman and Jeffery Kohnle are vying for Kewaunee's 4th District aldermanic seat. No primary was held; the top vote-getter will win the seat.
Other contested municipal races are in the towns of Carlton, Red River, Lincoln, West Kewaunee and in the Village of Luxemburg, where four candidates are running for three available trustee seats.
Voters in the Denmark School District -- which includes portions of Kewaunee, Brown and Manitowoc counties -- have two items to decide on. One is a three-year, $2.91 million non-recurring override referendum for educational programming and maintenance projects. There's also a school board race, with three candidates vying for two available seats.
