In about four weeks the Forestville American Legion Women’s Auxiliary Post 372 will be shipping out boxes filled with Door County love to service men and women. Nancy Hutchinson is heading the effort and says they could use monetary donations as well as supplies.
Over the past four years the Auxiliary has supported more than 50 soldiers from Door County. Each year a group of Auxiliary women and others willing to lend a helping hand, usually parents of soldiers, pack up the boxes at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Sturgeon Bay.
For more information about volunteering or donations, call Hutchinson at 920-823-2164.
