As the 2012-2013 basketball season comes to an end, the WIAA girls state tournament takes place.
For the third year in a row the Lady Storm will be making another appearance on the court. This year, the tournament will not be held in Madison but in Green Bay at the Resch Center. Even though there is a change in venue, that will not stop these girls from trying to take home the gold. Not only does the team thank their family, but their amazing fans and student body for the support they have given them.
Coach Lynn Geier describes her team not as “superstars on a team,” but a “team of superstars.”
The entire community of Kewaunee wishes all of the girls best of luck throughout their journey towards the gold ball. They hope these “chain of sisters” will be able to bring another one home.
