At Saturday night's 10th Annual Rotary Trivia Night, Bob Ryan's team came out on top.
The group answered 83 out of 100 questions correctly and won the tiebreaker to clinch first place over Brett Bicoy's team who also had 83 correct answers. In the first round, all teams estimated the number of points they would finish with to use in the case of a tie.
Trivia Night Chairman Paul Schmitt says this was the first year the tiebreaker came into play. Ryan's team estimate was closer to their actual score in the end than Bicoy's team estimate.
Ten teams competed and finished with scores ranging from 67-83. Categories included Trees, Badger Football, U.S. State Capitals, March 2 Birthdays, World Records and Door County among others. This year's final category included ten questions that Schmitt asked during the very first Rotary Trivia Night.
Schmitt says Trivia Night brought in more than $1,000 for local Rotary projects.
