The arts were alive at Sevastopol School on February 26 with 20 different artists and musicians giving half-hour presentations throughout the day. Along with the demonstrations, students and community members were even able to design some of their own art. High school art teacher Ashley LaVick had the chance to catch some of the events.
Former high school science teacher Paul Leline says he thinks the event allows students to learn things they might not normally be exposed to.
One of the goals of this event was to promote the arts within the student population.
