They may or may not decide to pursue radio as a career, but a group of Gibraltar High School students will learn more about the broadcasting industry during a visit to the radio stations of DoorCountyDailyNews.com this week.
The hands-on workshop is part of the Hardy Gallery's Exposure To Creativity (ETC) program.
Hardy Gallery Executive Director Beth Meissner-Gigstead says the program allows them to offer about 35 workshops a year to Gibraltar High School students in all areas of arts, including writing, theater, dance and visual arts and also applied arts like graphics, radio, cooking and fashion design.
Meissner-Gigstead says the program, in its sixth year, is funded through a combination of grants and private donations.
