Next Thursday, February 28, the Rotary Clubs of Door County (Sturgeon Bay Noon, Breakfast and Northern Door) will host the Second Annual Rotary Ethics in Business Awards Dinner at Stone Harbor Resort.
Awards will be given in three categories - Individual, Not for Profit and For Profit - based on how well the nominated businesses fare in the Rotary’s Four-Way Test.
Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
Ethics in Business Committee Chair Cynthia Crock says after the committee reads the applications, and then business students in Terri Brown’s business class at NWTC conduct interviews with the nominees.
Crock encourages anyone interested in supporting the nominees, or finding out what it’s all about in order to participate next year, to attend. Reservations are being accepted through this Thursday, February 21. Those interested can email Crock at madeit2@live.com for a reservation form to be mailed in.
