With the Parks and Recreation department down a secretary, the city’s Personnel Committee is suggesting an upgrade to the city website that would make it more user-friendly for the city staff and allow people to book parks and pay reservation fees online.
Finance Committee Chair Joe Stutting says last week his committee voted in favor of recommending the City Council to spend about $6,000 to give the website a facelift.
Pending a decision from the City Council, Stutting says the project should take about 60 days to get the new site up and running.
