Folks will fall out of their seats laughing next weekend during the Kewaunee Young People’s Theater production of "Hooray for Hollywood". Cast and crew member Kevin Dax says the adult variety show serves as one big fundraiser.
The cast and crew are very dedicated to the show and work on writing skits throughout the year. Dax says this year’s show includes 19 short skits.
The show has grown immensely over the twenty years that Dax has been involved. In fact, it’s grown so much that all 900 tickets for the shows February 22 and 23 at the Heritage Farm in Kewaunee are already sold out. That’s great news for the beneficiaries, but Dax says he and the cast will be working on ways to open up the show to more people next year.
