A familiar face -- and voice -- is back in Door County.
James Larsen, the newest member of the DoorCountyDailyNews.com team, was born and raised in Sturgeon Bay and says he "couldn't be happier" to be back in DC.
In between, Larsen's lived in New York, attended broadcast school in Connecticut, and held radio gigs in both Austin, Texas and northern California.
And if you tell him he's got a great voice for radio -- well, you wouldn't be the first one...
Longtime Door County residents may remember Larsen as the point guard for the conference championship-winning Sturgeon Bay Clippers teams of the late 1980s. He still hoops it up, although he says right now his favorite sport to play is golf.
