Candidate Forums Set For Liberty Grove Town Board, Southern Door School Board

Candidate forums have been scheduled for two of Door County's contested races in the April election -- one for the Liberty Grove Town Board and one for the Southern Door School Board.

The Liberty Grove forum will take place Saturday, February 16 at 10 a.m. at the Liberty Grove Town Hall. Candidates in the race are Frank Forkert, Nancy Goss, Michael Mercier.

The Southern Door School Board forum is set for Monday, March 4 at 7 p.m. at the Southern Door High School library. The candidates are Steve Bretl, Del Schmelzer and Heidi Gutschow.

Both forums, sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Door County, will feature anonymous written questions submitted by the audience.
