So far this week we've had warmth, rain, fog and quite a bit of snow. Now comes the cold. Another blast of arctic air will be blowing into the state, plunging wind chills well below zero. Thursday's high is expected to be in the teens with strong northwest winds. Friday it'll be even colder, with high temperatures only in the single digits and lows Friday night likely dropping below zero. The extended forecast calls for a gradual warming trend, with highs getting back into the 20s by Monday and reaching the lower 30s by the end of next week.
