New Trucking Business Opening In Algoma

The city of Algoma is welcoming a new business to town.

City Administrator Tom Reynolds says Express Transport, a trucking and warehousing operation headquartered in Green Bay, is opening a new terminal in the Algoma Industrial Park. Reynolds says the business is looking to hire up to a dozen full-time workers.

Reynolds says Express Transport, which is owned by Steve Van Laanen, purchased A & E Building Systems at 1509 Rabas Street in December.
