Mitten Toss Will Help To Warm Hands

Basketballs won't be the only things flying through the air Friday night at the Kewaunee varsity girls basketball game. There figures to be plenty of mittens too.

Friday is the night of the second annual Mitten Toss, which will take place at halftime of the contest between the Lady Storm and Algoma.

It's being organized by Kewaunee's Paige Kassner as part of her Warm Hands Warm Hearts campaign.

Paige says the cold weather gear that's collected will be distributed to those in need in the Kewaunee and Algoma school districts.
