With technology in full swing, some Kewaunee School students are getting advancements of their own for the upcoming years.
During the past four months, students in grades five and nine received their own iPads for school use. Since the Kewaunee School District wanted to move forward with technology, they thought the iPads were a perfect fit. Starting with two grades for “test trials,” they will see if they should invest in iPads for all of the students.
Kewaunee High School freshman Shea Carmichael explains how she uses her iPad and why she believes that the idea was a good choice.
One of the main reasons the iPads were purchased was because of the accessibility of school textbooks. This will give students a chance to get into technology and make their load “less.”
In the future, Kewaunee High hopes to integrate the iPads into more grades of the school. But for right now, these “test trials” are what will decide the outcome.
