Home sales in both Door and Kewaunee counties were up substantially in 2012 compared to 2011.
According to figures released Monday by the Wisconsin Realtors Association, sales of existing homes in Door County were 28.5% higher in 2012 than they were in 2011 (563 compared to 438).
Kewaunee County registered a 76.6% jump, going from 107 sales in 2011 to 189 sales in 2012.
Both counties saw a decrease in median price, with Door County down 8.7% and Kewaunee County down 8.9%.
Statewide, sales of existing homes grew 20.7% in 2012 with the median price up 1.1%.
