The Sister Bay Village Board Tuesday will be deciding whether to spend a bit more than $40,000 on consulting services to help with downtown redevelopment planning.
Village Administrator Bob Kufrin says the $40,820 contract with Vandewalle & Associates would address issues like creating businesses and jobs in the downtown and revitalizing parcels that are vacant or underutilized. He says the item has already been before the Village Board twice and has been discussed four times by the village's Economic Development Committee.
In other action, trustees will take up a proposal to spend around $2,800 to purchase a used advanced hybrid switch carded telephone system for the Administration Building. Among other things, the new system would make another line in the office available for outgoing calls and reduce the amount of times there's not a telephone line available.
Tuesday's meeting is at 6 p.m. at the Sister Bay Fire Station at 2258 Mill Road.
