Hunters Find Success In Door County

Deer season means bringing forward and creating cherished memories and rituals for families all throughout Wisconsin.

The 2012 season means exactly that for hunters in Door County – and some have already found success.

It didn't take Sturgeon Bay resident and lifelong hunter Eric Cooley much time to bring home a trophy buck; rated around a score of 140-150.

Randy Matuszak of Suamico has been hunting about forty years. The only season he's ever missed was in 1970-1971 when he was serving our country with the 101st airborne in Vietnam.

Mauszak and Cooley both say the number of deer they saw this year seems larger than in recent years.
