Wisconsin Public Service has deployed about 25 of its employees to help the East Coast recover from Superstorm Sandy.
The storm hammered the Northeast almost two weeks ago now, and some have been without power since.
Kevin Fleischman is from Sturgeon Bay, and is among those sent east to help with the recovery efforts.
Fleischman says he mainly has others from SBU on his crew, but WPS is just a small fraction of the 8000 or so linemen helping to turn the lights back on in the area.
Fleischman will be working in New Jersey until Thursday, and expects most all residents affected by the storm should see power restored by then. He adds the people on the east coast have been extremely nice and appreciative of the help, giving them coffee and refreshments whenever they can.
