Neighbor-to-Neighbor Volunteer Caregivers of Door County is holding their fourth annual Door County Rib Fest on Saturday, November 17 at the Sturgeon Bay Yacht Club. Doors will open at 4:00 pm for cash bar and silent auction, with serving from 5:00-7:00 pm or until ribs are gone. The night's menu will include samples of each chef's ribs, baked beans, coleslaw, and desserts. The event also includes Ken-Ya-Sing DJ Service, a silent auction with items donated by local businesses and individuals, and 50/50 raffles. Those attending the event will vote for their favorite ribs in the professional and amateur categories, with trophies being awarded to the favorites in each category at the end of the evening.
Participating in this year's event in the professional category are: The Draft Haus/Sonny's, Pelletier's Restaurant, Casey's BBQ and Smokehouse, Mr. G's Logan Creek Grille, the Sturgeon Bay Yacht Club, The Cabin Restaurant, and Tadych's Econo Foods. The amateur division includes: Bob Scieszinski, Mark Langgut, and Bob Wolter, Jr.
Tickets are $18 per person and are available by calling the Neighbor-to-Neighbor office at (920) 743-7800. There are a limited number of tickets available -- the purchase of tickets in advance is strongly encouraged. If tickets are still available, they will be sold at the door the night of the event. The event sponsors include: Ministry Door County Medical Center, Ken Pollock DJ Service, & DC Printing, with supplemental funds from Thrivent Financial. All proceeds from this event will go to support Neighbor-to-Neighbor programming. We hope to see you there!
