Snowflakes Possible On Election Day

Those who think it always rains on Election Day will have more fodder for their theory on Tuesday.

Both rain and snow are in the forecast, although neither is expected to be heavy.

Forecasters are calling for a mix of rain and snow showers in the morning and rain showers in the afternoon with steady temperatures throughout the day in the mid to upper 30s.

The rest of the week is looking quiet weather-wise, with more sunshine and high temperatures reaching the 40s from Wednesday through Friday.

Some areas of southern Door County, including Brussels, Forestville and the Town of Gardner, received a dusting of snow Sunday morning.
