Utility crews from northeast Wisconsin are heading east to help with power restoration on the East Coast.
Wisconsin Public Service spokeperson Lisa Prunty says WPS is sending 20 line technicians and 3 support staff to help in the massive restoration effort.
Prunty says crews from several different locations within the WPS service territory will be meeting in Sheboygan and then driving together to Connecticut.
She says the crews are planning on working in Connecticut for about two weeks.
We Energies and Wisconsin Power & Light are also sending workers to the eastern U.S. to help restore power.
