Come aboard the haunted cutter Mobile Bay, if ye dare.
Coast Guard Cutter Mobile Bay and its crewmembers invite you to visit their 32nd annual free haunted ship event, scheduled to take place Friday evening October 26 in Sturgeon Bay.
During the event, guests will be ushered through various haunted rooms throughout the ship and barge. Treats will be available for all children.
Activities will commence from 5-6 p.m. for younger children and again from 7-10 p.m. for older kids and adults. The ship is located at Sawyer Park Pier, just south of the Maple-Oregon Street Bridge in Sturgeon Bay. In conjunction with the haunted ship, guests are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items, which will be donated to a local charity organization.
"Every year, it is a pleasure to be able to put on the Ghost Ship event for the people of Sturgeon Bay and all of Door County," says Lt. Cmdr. John Stone, commanding officer of Mobile Bay.
"Our surrounding community has done a great deal to support us for as long as we have been in Sturgeon Bay, and we are always excited to give back to the community whenever the opportunity exists."
