The two candidates running for the 1st Assembly seat are scheduled to appear at a candidate forum Thursday evening in Sturgeon Bay. The forum featuring Republican incumbent Garey Bies and Democratic challenger Patrick Veeser will get underway at 7 p.m. in the Common Council Chambers at City Hall, 421 Michigan Street in Sturgeon Bay.
The event, which is not a debate, is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Door County. The questions will come from both the audience and those who intend to view the forum on the access channels or internet.
The forum will air live and be replayed on:
- Sturgeon Bay's Governmental Public Access Channels: 97 (Analog) and 988 (Digital) and on the Charter Cable system reaching Door and Kewaunee Counties. Check www.SturgeonBayWI.org for more information about replay dates and times.
