Seniors at Sturgeon Bay High School are starting to feel the pressures of growing up.
Seniors have begun the lengthy college application process and many are having trouble finding the time to finish it. Between sports and homework, students are taking off weekends and staying up late to try to complete their applications.
Sturgeon Bay senior Paige Kudlik says she had a hard time getting started on her applications.
"I wanted to get started on my applications early this summer, but before I knew it September came along," she says. "I knew that if I wanted to get accepted early I needed to get them in."
Paige's early and hard work paid off. She recently got accepted to both UW-La Crosse and UW-Eau Claire.
Paige says between cross country practice, homework and work, she just needed to pick a time to get organized and get everything done.
"Although it was stressful to get organized right when school started I realized that I needed to get them done and on time."
Even though the deadline to apply to most colleges and universities isn't for another few months, students who apply for early decision can be notified about their acceptance much earlier.
