Fire Prevention Week: Have 2 Ways Out

Making sure you have two ways out in case there's a fire. That's this year's theme of National Fire Prevention Week. Captain Thad Tremble of the Southern Door Fire Department says it's good advice to heed no matter what type of building you happen to be in.

Tremble says the Southern Door Department will be teaming with B.U.G. Fire this week to visit schools and teach kids about fire prevention.

He says the Southern Door open house is scheduled for this Saturday, October 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Forestville Fire Station at the intersection of Hwy 42 and County Hwy J.
