United Way of Door County Elects Youth Board Members

United Way of Door County has added three Sturgeon Bay High School juinors to its board.

Samantha Moeller, Caitlin Reichel, and Kelsey Smith were each elected to serve a one year term. After their first term, they will be eligible to serve an additional year prior to graduating from high school.

Ten years ago, United Way locally changed their policy to add youth to theboard. Executive Director Amy Kohnle says that is because many of their programs serve teens and they wanted to hear that voice before the programs took place.
