Police Recover Stolen Radio Station Signs

The Sturgeon Bay Police Department has recovered DoorCountyDailyNews.com signs stolen from Econo Foods in Sturgeon Bay.

Police say Daniel Derse, 42, of Sturgeon Bay admitted to stealing the advertising signs. Derse was caught on a surveillance camera removing the signs that were located above the checkout doors at 12:37 AM on September 17.

When contacted by Sturgeon Bay police Derse originally denied the theft. When presented with the surveillance camera evidence, Derse admitted the theft and apologized to police.
