Work is moving ahead on the removal of the Bruemmerville Dam near Algoma.
Kewaunee County Promotions & Recreation Director Matt Payette says the plan is to get the physical work done by the end of fall.
Payette says seeding the area will most likely wait until spring. Work has been stopped on the project for about a week, as workers wait for the very wet sediment to dry out.
The project was originally scheduled to start in June, but fell into delay waiting for final permit approvals from the U.S Army Corps of Engineers.
