A Fish Creek business owner is in critical condition at a Green Bay hospital after getting hit by a car while riding his bicycle.
It happened Wednesday at 7:20 a.m. at the intersection of Highways 42 and 57 in Sister Bay.
According to the accident report from the Door County Sheriff's Department, 68-year-old Edward Krisch was riding north on Highway 42 when he was struck by a vehicle driven by 87-year-old Rita Willems of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, who turned left into his path.
Krisch, who owns the Hart & Hart store in Fish Creek, was initially taken to Door County Medical Center before being transferred to St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay. He was listed in critical condition Wednesday evening.
The report indicates Krisch was wearing a helmet and a fluorescent green shirt. Willems told authorities she didn't see the bicycle.
