Michael Serpe is getting settled in his new role as a consultant with the Village of Egg Harbor. The former Door County Administrator started his consulting gig Monday. Serpe says he is looking forward to helping Egg Harbor get the ball rolling on some plans currently in the works.
On the immediate agenda is helping village administrator Josh Van Lieshout fill a couple of open positions.
Serpe says the Clerk/Treasurer and Deputy Clerk positions are open and need to be filled as quickly as possible.
In addition to the immediate personnel needs, Serpe says he will be looking at some budgetary issues, and taking part in other management duties.
All in all, Serpe says the things that interest him are the ones that have been put on his plate, and he is looking forward to working with the Village.
