Funeral arrangements are pending for the 66-year-old Door County man who died in a traffic crash Tuesday in the Town of Sevastopol.
Russ Reinhard was a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Fish Creek. Michelle Reinhard says her husband was born in Door County, attended Maple Grove School in Gibraltar and graduated from Gibraltar High School. She says he was an accomplished musician, family historian, actor and director in addition to being a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He was retired from teaching in Lee County Florida, as was she.
"He was just a wonderful human being," says Reinhard. "Funny and clever and creative."
Reinhard says she believes a medical condition may have contributed to Tuesday's accident.
The Casperson Funeral Home in Sister Bay is handling arrangements.
