Man Killed In Sevastopol Traffic Crash

A 66-year-old man was killed in a traffic crash Tuesday in the Town of Sevastopol.

It happened shortly after 10 a.m. at the intersection of County Highway B and Dunn Road.

The Door County Sheriff's Department says the man -- who's from the St. Petersburg, Florida area but who has a summer home in the Town of Gibraltar -- was killed when his vehicle went off the road and struck a tree. He was the only occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

His name will be released pending notification of relatives.
