The Door County Fair, held at the fairgrounds in Sturgeon Bay, attracts hundreds of Door County locals every year. Between races, local bands, horse shows, and the giant Ferris wheel, adults and children of all ages have plenty of attractions to keep them busy for five days.
Sturgeon Bay student, Jenna Seiler, enjoys the festivities of the fair and seeing all of her classmates.
Ali Sommerfeldt, a senior at Sturgeon Bay, shows her horse, Chesy, at the fair. Ali says that she likes showing at the fair because “a lot of people that have never seen a horse show get to watch.”
She also says that she gets to compete with her friends, which she enjoys.
The fair runs through Sunday.
