Door County's Burning Ban Lifted

Door County's ban on open burning is over.

Emergency Management of Door County in conjunction with Door County Fire Chiefs has lifted the temporary ban on open burning effective immediately.

Recent rainfall with more expected has improved conditions where burning permits can again be obtained. Anyone with further questions can contact their local fire chief.
