A definite buzz could be felt in the air at the Wellness Center Of Door County as they showed off their brand new facility in an Open House Tuesday night.
The Wellness Center was filled with dazzled members of the community. Whether brand new to the health care facility or a self-proclaimed long time supporter like former Lieutenant Governor Barbara Lawton, there was one common reaction to the backdrop the Center is putting behind medicine…

The Wellness Center's warmth is everywhere -- Many rooms have rustic maritime theming. Artwork and décor in various mediums hangs elegantly on walls. Children are welcomed and given ways to explore with their imagination. Executive Director Michele Geiger-Bronsky says a great deal of love and care has gone into every element of putting together the Wellness Center for the future.
The new center is about 8,000 square feet; nearly ten times the old building. The square footage makes a full range of services available, from holistic treatments like yoga and acupuncture, to exams following sexual assault, and even full primary health care.

And there is more to come. Geiger-Bronsky says soon, the clinic will be able to reach specialists all over the country with sophisticated telemedicine.
