Burning Ban Update

The burning ban in Door County remains in effect even with the recent precipitation we have had. The Sturgeon Bay Fire Department says as we see vegetation absorb and make use of that water, the ban or parts of it might be lifted soon. We'll let you know if the status on the ban changes as soon as we find out any new information.

For those wondering about the burning ban in Kewaunee County, Algoma Fire Chief Tom Ackerman says all restrictions have been lifted.
