Gate Problem Forces Oregon Street Bridge Closure

An issue with a traffic gate forced the closure of the Oregon Street Bridge in Sturgeon Bay for a time on Friday.

It happened around 1 p.m.

Wisconsin Department of Transportation spokesman Kris Schuller tells DoorCountyDailyNews.com that one of the safety gates on the bridge stopped working properly and the span had to be closed to traffic so crews could make repairs.
