Get your groove on this Friday and Saturday because Kewaunee is hosting their first ever Summer Teen Dances.
Although this weekend in Kewaunee will consist of the annual activities for Trout Festival, this new addition will promote positive entertainment for teens in the area. Host, DJ Animal and Owner of Deca-Dance DJ Service, Alan Maurer is creating this event not only to encourage teens to come and enjoy the music and dance but to generate funds for his daughter Alexis to travel to Germany along with many others from her German class.
So get your party on with a beach theme to kick things off on July 13th. There will be a raffle happening that evening to win a free limo ride with you and five friends to come back on July 14th for the black light graffiti party. Bring your artistic talent with you as well so you can leave your mark on the black light graffiti wall. Maurer says “Be sure to dress in style and dress to impress.” He also mentions that the dances are something that he wants to give back to teens since there are not many activities for them to be a part of during Trout Festival.
Teens ages 13 to 17 are invited to join the fun on 210 Ellis Street in Kewaunee Friday and Saturday from 8 pm to 12 am. Maurer is guaranteeing a great time.
