Police in Sturgeon Bay are piecing together details of a bar fight that resulted in at least one arrest so far and several injuries.
According to the Sturgeon Bay Police Department blog, on Wednesday, June 20 at 1:51 a.m. officers were dispatched to a bar fight at Cherry Lanes. When they arrived they found a man bleeding from the head due to being struck with a pool stick. Officers also found another male a few feet away with injuries to his face. Witnesses told police the fight started over a disagreement inside the bar and spilled out onto the street where a pool stick and shovel were used.
Door County EMS transported a 34-year-old man to Door County Medical Center for multiple injuries. Another man drove himself to the hospital for treatment.
Police arrested a 20-year-old Kentucky man for disorderly conduct and battery and are looking for a 22-year-old Sturgeon Bay man they say was involved in the altercation.
Police are continuing to review video footage from the bar and say more arrests are likely.
