Skate Park Initiative Update

Sunset School playground will be the temporary home for skateboarders for the next two months after cooperation from the Sturgeon Bay Police Department, Sturgeon Bay Schools, the YMCA, and the Sturgeon Bay Skate Park Initiative

Co-chair of the Sturgeon Bay Skate Park Initiative Matt Dixner Young says that this will do for now.

Dixner Young explains that they are making great progress when it comes to designing the park and that when those plans are complete they can really focus on fundraising.

To help raise funds for the skate park the Initiative will be participating in some paid volunteer activities around the community to help raise funds.
