The backbone of communications is up and running for emergency response teams across the state. WISCOM is the name of the new program and Kewaunee County Sheriff Matt Joski says that the program has linked the entire state together.
As with any new change or upgrade in technology the WISCOM project had its challenges but according to Joski they were more with the logistics than they were with any of the technology.
Joski wants those in the community to remember that all of the public safety entities whether they are fire rescue or law enforcement are always working together.
