Criminal charges have been filed against a 21-year-old Sturgeon Bay man accused of setting fires at a church and a city park.
According to online court records, two felony charges of arson were filed Wednesday against Kaleb Chaudoir.
Police arrested Chaudoir June 15 in connection with fires at St. Peter's Church and Otumba Park. Sturgeon Bay Police Captain Dan Brinkman says the arrest was made following a tip from someone who had seen surveillance photos released by the department.
Both fires caused minor damage.
Chaudoir is free on a $750 cash bond. He's scheduled to make his initial court appearance June 29 at 1:15 p.m. before Door County Judge Todd Ehlers.
