Wisconsin home sales were up again in May, a trend that was mirrored in both Door and Kewaunee counties.
According to figures released Monday by the Wisconsin REALTORS® Association, sales of existing homes statewide were up 18.9 percent in May 2012 compared to May 2011.
In Door County, home sales were up 14.6 percent over the same time frame. In Kewaunee County the jump was 54.5 percent.
Both counties saw a dip in median home prices from last May to this May, whereas prices statewide were 1.5 percent higher.
May home sales were strongest in the Central region of Wisconsin (up 31.8 percent), followed by the Northeast and Southeast regions, both of which increased about 21 percent.
