The recent stretch of dry weather may not be the best thing for your lawn, but it's helping crews make good progress on the 4th Avenue project in Sturgeon Bay. In fact, City Engineer Tony Depies says if the weather cooperates the road could reopen as early as Friday, June 22. Depies says if all goes as planned cross traffic will be restored by June 22, including opening the entire street, but a single rain day could delay the opening until the following week.
Depies says the concrete road pavement was completed on Tuesday. In the coming week he says crews will be working on asphalt patching, streetlight installation, signs and pavement marking.
