Police in Sturgeon Bay have made an arrest in connection with two recent arson fires.
Captain Dan Brinkman says around 4:20 p.m. Friday police arrested a 21-year-old Sturgeon Bay man in connection with the June 9 fires at St. Peter's School and the Otumba Park pavilion.
Brinkman thanked the many residents who called in with tips after seeing photos of the suspect from surveillance videos...

Brinkman says the District Attorney's office will make the call on charges, but police will likely request at least two charges of arson.
Brinkman says just because the blazes didn't cause major damage doesn't mean the crimes aren't serious. "Just because they didn't burn as long and cause greater damage that doesn't mean that the intent or the thought was not there," says Brinkman.
