Door County YMCA cordially invites you to attend the grand opening of the new Child Development Center on Wednesday, June 20 at 10am. Join us in our beautiful offsite Child Care Center at 1743 Egg Harbor Road. In celebration of the valuable addition of child care to the Door County Y’s programming, and the Door County community, there will be a ribbon cutting, cake, tours, and brief musical performance by our students. Since the opening of the 5,500 square foot facility on April 1st, the center has been filled to capacity, serving the needs of over 120 part and full time children ages 6 weeks through school age. Stop by on the 20th to see the children and dedicated staff in action!
Calling all Door County teens! Students entering grades 9 through 12 are invited to bring Jamaica to the peninsula with the first annual YMCA Teen Night Jamaican Beach Bash! June 23rd from 6-10 PM at Martin Park. Show off your mad limbo skills, get soaked on the slip and slide, explode in color with tie dye balloon dodging, fill your face in a donut eating contest, win fabulous door prizes, slurp some smoothies, and dance to a live DJ!
